This pillow was woven by the Association Le Vieux Village.
The Association Le Vieux Village is a beautiful collective of women artisans just outside of Tazenakht. Mlouka is the matriarch of the collective, she has passed the art of weaving down to her daughters, daughters-in-law, cousins, and villagers. As she is getting older, her daughter Naima, pictured, & Fatima have stepped in to oversee the teaching process.
Each pillow is one-of-a-kind. They're all inspired by, or made from, a textile that was woven in the village.
